SKILLs-ATPE will provide intensive applied behavior therapy of up to 40 hours per week that is based on Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Incidental Teaching and Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
Our 10 to 17 years old program is for school age children. We will provide non-intensive therapy of up to 25 hours per week for in home and/or center based.
Our young adult program is for 18 to 21 years old adults with autism. We will provide functional behavioral therapy at home, school, work, and in the community of up to 10 hours per week based on the client’s needs.
SKILLs-ATPE provides community based therapy which occurs in the natural environment of the individual’s community. We will teach skills necessary for independence and quality of life, including but not limited to; buying food at stores, ordering food at restaurants, travelling (by foot, bus or train) safely in the community, riding public transportation (if able), paying bills, etc. In other words, skills learned in the intensive learning environment will be generalized and maintained in the community.
Our partnership with school districts – if your child has an IEP and is in an autism program, and you would like us to evaluate him/her for FBA (functional behavior assessment/analysis), please let us know and we will be happy to do that. We can also consult with your child’s IEP team and assure he/she is learning the best way they can learn.
Please note – these services are funded/paid by either your child’s school district or your county waiver programs. We also accept private pay – contact us for details.
Our County Based Services are for children and adults that have waivers. Please contact us if you are interested in these services for our fees.
