Our Programs & Services are based on each child and adult’s individual needs based on verbal and nonverbal communication, gross/fine motor imitation, social/interpersonal skills, self care skills, learning skills, behavior, sensory and self-regulation skills, as well as community safety skills.

Skills-Autism Therapy & Parent Enrichment (Skills-ATPE) provides research and evidence based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adults up to age 21.

Our Birth to 9 years Program is for in-home services for young children. Skills-ATPE will provide intensive applied behavior therapy of up to 40 hours per week that is based on Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Incidental Teaching and Pivotal Response Training (PRT), and other interventions based on the client’s needs.

Our 10 to 17 years Program is for school age children. We will provide non-intensive or intensive applied behavior therapy of up to 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the child. This may occur in the client’s home, school, or other places in the community, as needed and approved by the treatment team.

Our Young Adult Program is for 18 to 21-year-old adults with autism. We will provide functional behavioral therapy at home, school, work, and in the community.

Skills-ATPE provides community-based therapy, which occurs in the natural environment of the individual’s community. We will teach skills necessary for independence and quality of life, including, but not limited to buying food at stores, ordering food at restaurants, traveling by foot, bus, or train safely, paying bills, etc. In other words, skills learned in the intensive learning environment we provide will be generalized and maintained in the community.

Our partnership with school districts allows us to work with your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team in a variety of capacities. We can conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and consult with your child’s team to ensure he/she is learning in the most effective way possible.

Our county-based services are for children and adults who receive waivers through their county of residence. Please contact us if you are interested in these services.
