Behavior Therapist (BT)

Skills- Autism Therapy & Parent Enrichment (Skills-ATPE) was founded by autism professionals, advocates, and parents who saw the gap and need in a true behavior intervention program that is based on person-centered, family-driven, and culturally responsive treatment plans that fit the child and family’s needs.

  • We provide in-home and center-based ABA therapy to children and families throughout the seven metro (Scott, Dakota, Hennepin, Washington, Ramsey, Carver and Anoka) counties.

The Position: We are looking for Behavioral Therapists. The pay range we are offering is $17-$20/hour, dependent upon education and experience.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with a flexible schedule

  • We provide the training and supervision necessary to receive your certificate as a Registered Behavior Technician

Requirements:

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in behavior health, social work, psychology or related field. And, at least 1,000 hours of working with individuals with autism or related conditions.
  • OR have an associate degree and 2,000 hours of working individuals with autism or related field.
  • OR – at least 4,000 hours of working with individuals with autism or related field.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Physical abilities to work with individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Speak, write, read and/or communicate fluently in the English language
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with clients and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct ABA Therapy to clients in their homes and/or in the center
  • Provide Family and Caregiver Training and counseling to the families of the clients
  • Compile and preserve data on treatment and progress of the clients
  • Monitor and complete Individual Treatment Plans (ITP)
  • Drive between clients’ homes and the office as needed

Clinical Supervisor - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Skills – Autism Therapy & Parent Enrichment (Skills-ATPE) was founded by an autism parent and professionals. We provide child centered and culturally appropriate behavior therapy for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder up to age 21 years old. We are looking for an energetic and compassionate clinical supervisor who is a BCBA. The position can be full-time, part-time and/or contract employment.

Salary: We offer competitive ( up to $70 per hour) salary and an attractive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance as well as sick and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for individuals with autism
  • Provide training to lead and behavior therapists as needed
  • Prepare monthly graphs for clients
  • Conduct direct therapy for individuals with autism
  • Conduct family and caregiver training and counseling for families as needed

Clinical Manager – Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP)

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in behavior health, psychology, social work, special education or related field
  • Must hold a valid and current MN license in mental health (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychology).
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Must have at least 2,000 hours of diagnosing, assessing and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related conditions
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Physical abilities to work with individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Speak, write, read and/or communicate fluently in the English language
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with clients and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the client’s overall clinical programs
  • Develop, monitor and implement individual treatment plans (ITP) every six months
  • Provide observation and direction to clinical supervisors and behavior therapists
  • Provide family care training, counseling and training to families and caretakers
  • Assess and evaluate clients to confirm autism diagnoses and their need for ABA therapy annually

Salary: up to $75.00 per hour based on experience with autism and ABA therapy. We offer health, dental and vision insurance as well as sick and paid time off.

Position can be full-time, part-time, contracted or consultant.
